Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the use of the teams games tournament cooperative learning model has an effect on the interest in learning social studies of class IV students at SD Inpres 2 Kamonji. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The sample for this research was fourth grade students at SD Inpres 2 Kamonji. This research variable includes the independent variable, namely the use of the team games tournament cooperative learning model, and the dependent variable, namely interest in learning. Data collection uses learning tools, questionnaires, observations, and documentation and the instruments used are learning tools, questionnaires, and observation sheets. Research data in the study was taken based on pretest and posttest learning interest data. Based on the results of calculating interest in learning using the paired sample t-test, a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha), namely, there is an influence of the use of the teams games tournament cooperative learning model on the interest in learning social studies of class IV students at SD Inpres 2 Kamonji.
